Framing The Culture is an exhibition that hopes to add value to African Culture using visual arts. It explores culture as a living force, one that governs the mental, spiritual and collective consciousness of the being.Â

With Sydney Fayorsey as curator, Framing the Culture brings together a group of young visual artistes who through their works frame some performative arts in stills of beauty.Â

They include, Edward Afadzi Larbi, Assane M. Diomande, Kofi Gadede and Salim W. Fuseini. The exhibition presents diverse yet interconnected narratives rooted in African identity, material intelligence and ancestral knowledge.
Transforming everyday materials into vessels of meaning, they used media such as, broomsticks, fishing lines, crochet yarns, and other natural and found elements to help bridge tradition, sustainability and innovation.
